Work from a folder
Run Hodman directly against project files on your Mac.
For the fastest local loop, Hodman can work without a container: choose a project folder on the host machine, let the agent edit files there, and run commands against that workspace. This mode can use host-machine access and SSH connections, for example your existing Git authorization.
Run in Docker
Use a container when you want a cleaner execution boundary.
If you want a stronger isolation, Hodman can run it inside a Docker container with mounted project files and a controlled runtime environment. Uploading files into the project becomes closer to working with a server, but dependencies and runtime stay inside the container, reducing risks for your computer. Git, SSH and other accesses should be configured separately, with explicit permissions for what the agent can reach.
